Robert Hedrick
Associate Professor of Instruction

Dr. Hedrick completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University (2005) and PhD
at Florida State University (2015). He taught four years at the high school level
in addition to many years now at the University level. He came to USF in 2017. His
research focuses on the intersection of Greek Rhetoric and Philosophy with Latin poetry.
In particular, much of his research focuses on the concept of enargeia in the ancient world—a term that means "vividness" or "self-evidence". He live in
Plant City with his wife and two small sons.
