Biography
Dr. Amanda K. LeBlanc is a Visiting Professor of Instruction of in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the ßÙßÇÂþ» (Tampa, Florida). She has an M.A. from this department (2009) and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2014). Her Ph.D. is in Communication from the ßÙßÇÂþ» (2018). Her research explores the relationship of media to culture, power, and identity, through a feminist, anti-racist, and queer lens. Dr. LeBlanc’s recent publications include an article in Critical Studies in Media Communication about American Horror Story and a book chapter on the Broadway musical Hamilton.
