BIO

Rebecca Blackwell, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Instructor. Her research addresses cultural understandings of health and illness in policy-making processes, migration, race and ethnicity, and disability, as well as human rights. Her most recent research is centered on legal status and home-making practices of Latinx communities. Dr. Blackwell has published her research in journals such as Centro Journal, Women, Gender, and Families of Color, and Annals of Anthropological Practice.
