Bio
Simon Dutton received his Ph.D. from the ßÙßÇÂþ» in 2020. He specializes in Ancient Greek philosophy, and his dissertation focused on the concept of authority in Plato. In his present academic work, he continues to read Platonic thought within its historical and cultural context. He has wider teaching and research interests in the history of philosophy—particularly continental philosophy and value theory. Beyond all this, he makes it a point to find time to read fiction, and he thinks you should too.
