Chelsea Zukowski is an adjunct professor in the Department of Journalism and Digital Communication at the ßÙßÇÂþ» St. Petersburg. Primarily teaching Advanced Reporting, she has also taught Neighborhood News Bureau, Journalists in the Movies, Beginning Reporting, and graduate and undergraduate Media Ethics.
She earned a master’s degree in history from American Public University in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and media studies from ßÙßÇÂþ» St. Petersburg in 2014.
Chelsea is also a freelance journalist and editor whose coverage areas include Florida cultural and historical features, entertainment criticism, and the theme park and amusement industry.
Before returning to USF as adjunct faculty, Chelsea worked as a staff reporter and copy editor at the Tampa Bay Times and then as a digital producer for 10 Tampa Bay-WTSP, the CBS affiliate station in St. Petersburg.
A native of the Tampa Bay area, Chelsea has been a professional journalist since college, where she worked as an editor for The Crow’s Nest student newspaper. Besides teaching, she is the faculty adviser for the paper.
