Kathleen de la Peña McCook, KN4IJM, holds the MA from the University of Chicago, Graduate Library School and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has an M.A. in English Literature
from Marquette University and B.A.in English Literature from the University of Illinois Chicago. She is author of Introduction to Public Librarianship (ALA Editions). She has been honored with the, , , , , for literary merit by the Catholic Library World and as . She currently writes "."
