BIOGRAPHY
Bianca Siegenthaler (M.A. ßÙßÇÂþ») is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at the ßÙßÇÂþ» studying health communication, interpersonal communication, and applied communication research.
Bianca’s research investigates how communication and narratives within healthcare interactions (i.e., patient-provider communication) influence health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and patient-provider relationships. She is currently focused on examining how communication is conceptualized, taught, assessed, and implemented in medical education curriculum. With this knowledge, she seeks to create practical and translational applications of communication in medical education curriculum to improve the experiences of all medical stakeholders.
